Hierarchical self-assembly in ionic liquid crosslinked polyelectrolyte gels as a citric acid sensor

چکیده
The design of an enzyme-free biocompatible electrochemical platform for the detection citric acid is discussed. We have studied sol-gel transition in DNA ionic liquid solution triggered by (IL), (1-Octyl-3-methylimidazolium Chloride [C8mim][Cl]; concentration= 0.1 to 1.0% (w/v)). Rheology and Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) studies characterized their viscoelastic microstructural properties. gel modulus was found vary from 10 60 Pa concomitant with a tunable temperature gelation. SANS data yielded persistence length (50 ± 12 nm) mesh size these gels (ξ = 2.5±0.5 nm). Remarkably, this ionogel served as excellent sensor application window 0.02-0.08 mM analyte concentration limit 1.510-8 molL-1. Yet another non-trivial versatile demonstrated here.

Ionic liquid nanostructure enables alcohol self assembly.
Weakly structured solutions are formed from mixtures of one or more amphiphiles and a polar solvent (usually water), and often contain additional organic components. They contain solvophobic aggregates or association structures with incomplete segregation of components, which leads to a poorly defined interfacial region and significant contact between the solvent and aggregated hydrocarbon grou...

متن کاملCubosomes from hierarchical self-assembly of poly(ionic liquid) block copolymers
Cubosomes are micro- and nanoparticles with a bicontinuous cubic two-phase structure, reported for the self-assembly of low molecular weight surfactants, for example, lipids, but rarely formed by polymers. These objects are characterized by a maximum continuous interface and high interface to volume ratio, which makes them promising candidates for efficient adsorbents and host-guest application...
متن کاملIonic liquids as amphiphile self-assembly media.
In recent years, the number of non-aqueous solvents which mediate hydrocarbon-solvent interactions and promote the self-assembly of amphiphiles has been markedly increased by the reporting of over 30 ionic liquids which possess this previously unusual solvent characteristic. This new situation allows a different exploration of the molecular "solvophobic effect" and tests the current understandi...
